Answers to Common Questions About Our Children's Consignment Process

  • How does the consignment process work?

    All Things Kids, Inc. will price, sell, and pay you 50% commission upon the sale of your gently used clothes and accessories.

  • When can I drop off my items?

    Your BEST 30 clothing items (outfits only count as 1 item) may be dropped off anytime, Monday thru  Friday 10am-5pm AND Saturday 10-3.  Clothing drop offs are one time per month per consignor. We will go through your items while you are in the store so that you may take your crate and "no thank yous" with you that day. Toys, books, furniture, and large items like swings and bouncers etc. may come any day, as long as they are clean, in working order, baggied into proper sets and have working batteries. The better sale-ready your items are (i.e. clean, working order, all pieces accounted for, and/or working batteries), the faster they will be reviewed, priced, and SOLD!

  • How should I bring my items?

    Your best 30 clothing items (only outfits count as an item) may be dropped off, one time per month, per consignor. Please have items neatly folded. No stains, excessive fading, or pet hair and be odor-free. Items may be brought in a laundry basket, Rubbermaid crate, box, or paper shopping bag. NO garbage or plastic bags! We will go through your items while you're in the store so that you may take your crate and “no thank you” items back with you. We accept toys, books, furniture, and large items like swings and bouncers, etc. any day. They must be clean, in working order, bagged into proper sets, and have working batteries. The better sale-ready your items are (i.e. clean, working order, all pieces accounted for, and working batteries), the faster they will be reviewed, priced, and sold!

  • How are my items priced?

    All Things Kids, Inc. will price clothes, books, toys, etc. about 1/3 of “new”, or retail price depending on condition. Bigger items like strollers, cribs, high chairs, etc. that are in excellent condition will generally be priced half of “new” price.

  • How do I earn credit?

    You receive 50% commission of the sale price as each item sells. The commission is deposited into your consignor account and is available as store credit, which you may use toward purchases. You may also request the money as cash or a check. You may check your credit anytime by calling, emailing, or stopping by the store.

  • Are there any items that can't be sold?

    See the "Items Not Accepted" tab on the site.

  • What sizes of clothing are accepted?

    Our huge selection includes clothing items for both boys and girls, preemie through size 12 youth.


    Consignment account service fee: $2.00 per month for all active accounts (effective 3/1/2015). Accounts with $2 or less selling per month the fee will be waived for those months.
