Guidelines for Consigners

All Things Kids, Inc. will price, sell, and pay you 50% commission on your gently used clothing and accessories. Please use the following guidelines when dropping off your quality used items:

 

Bring your BEST 30 clothing items once a month without the hassle of needing an appointment (outfits only count as 1 item).

 

   Please have items neatly folded, no stains or excessive fading, no pet hair and odor free. Items may be brought in a laundry basket, rubbermaid crate, box or paper shopping bag. NO garbage or plastic bags, please!

   We will do a quick check of items when you drop off to make sure there are no holes, stains, fading, odor etc. We will send any 'no thank you' items home with you at that time. Items then go through a final review for pricing. We price approximately 1/3 of "new" price depending on condition.

   Toys, books, games, equipment & furniture can come anytime. ALL items must be CLEAN and have working batteries. No exceptions. Items with multiple pieces must be in clear baggies grouped by set.

   We check ALL toys, books, games, equipment & furniture for recalls on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (cpsc.gov) website.

   As each item sells you receive 50% of the selling price in your account to use as store credit or take out cash or check.

   Drop offs may be done THE FIRST FULL 3 WEEKS OF THE MONTH, Monday thru Saturday 10am-5:30pm.

   Should we determine that an item received is not able to be sold due to unforseen condition or recall, we may contact you to request prompt pick-up of such item(s). We only give ONE call to pick up return items within 48 hours. If items are not picked up, they will be donated. If you cannot pick up within the 48 hours, it is your responsibility to contact us and let us know when you can pick up.

   Consignment Account Service Fee: $2.00 per month for all active accounts (effective 3/1/2015)

 

Other Reminders

  • As always, you may call or email us at any time to    check your current balance.

  • Items will be available on the sales floor for one whole season. After that time, items will be marked down at the discretion of All Things Kids, Inc., and may be donated to local charities depending on current inventory and space.

  • We currently consign boys preemie through size 12. Girls preemie through size 12 and all maternity sizes.

  • We accept gently used books, toys, games, baby equipment and furniture.

  • We CAN NOT accept car seats, plush items, breast pumps, cribs made before June 28, 2011.
